DVD Yin Yang Master
image
Spotless, we could have expected some more depth for such a recent film, but there's nothing worth quibbling about. The frame is the kind which slightly distorts the image when you view it on your TV's full screen mode, too bad.
sound
Sober but good 5.1 Japanese track, better sounding apparently than the English dubbed one from what I gather.
subtitles
Excellent, well sized, well located yellow subtitles. Other data appear in white in the upper part, this is very cleverly done.
special features
This special edition is bonus-packed, with interviews of the staff among other stuff, the only regret is not to have Hiroyuki Sanada nor any other actor expressing himself anywhere.
menus
Disappointing since the cover which was advertised (the one which appears here) has been replaced by a more conventional one. Nice animated menus.
quality/price ration
Fair, good way to discover this Japanese hit which is still little known.
